Another lovely sunny day here
A cruise ship arriving in Wellington at 7.30 am and it was gone again by 6pm!

We picked up our hire car this morning at 10; we use Apex over here and get their 'Roadtrip Special' basically and older model but hopefully sound! We had one last year for our first week and it was fine. Surprisingly this one is a manual not the automatic we'd been more likely to expect but it is a Sunny and very like our old Micra.

Huge music event on today all along the waterfront; all New Zealand artists like a mini-Glastonbury open from 12 midday to 11pm.This is just down the road from our hotel and I took this shot from our balcony of the tents housing some of the stages. There are 8 stages and over 60 acts!

Finally tonight our favourite restaurant which is next door to our hotel and we have eaten most of our meals there as it is smaller and the locals eat there plus it is so friendly.
